| Tara and Graeme's gorgeous house has just recently been featured in 'Home Ideas Magazine Vol7 No5'. I have been working with Tara for a number of years designing her bedroom, the kids playroom and all thier fun bedrooms. Not to mention all the little accessories, cushions, and other bits and pieces that go into making a house a home. Tara and Graeme's room is such a soothing and relaxing getaway with it's muted green and neutral colour scheme. As always pops of black and white in both the bedroom and ensuite add a touch of glamour and tie the rooms together. Three gorgeous bedrooms for three gorgeous kids!! We started by decorating big brother Riley's room in a classic blue and red colour scheme. Logan was next with blue and green and finally baby brother Darcy followed with his fabulous combination of blue and orange. We entered Darcy's room in the 2011 Dulux Colour Awards this year. It was shortlisted in the Residential Interior Design category - unfortunately we didn't win, but we had a great time. We wanted to have a bold feature wall in each of the kids rooms - but something that was a bit different and a bit interactive for the older boys. Riley's "Frames" wallpaper allows him to add his own personal touch to the room as he slowly colours in the frames with his own artworks and postcards. We used chalkboard squares for Logan - so he could express himself with some drawings too, but without copying his older brother. Darcy's room is just bold and beautiful with his complex multi colour stripe.
