Case Study: Refined Elegance
Our original brief for this home was basically assistance with an exterior colour scheme for an extension to complement the existing home. The clients were so pleased with the exterior colours they asked us to assist with furniture selection for the new room.
The basis of the new room was an indoor/outdoor feel for dinner parties with a "wow" factor. The iconic "Norm 69" pendants with their sculptural sharp lines paired with 10 glossy white chairs makes for a beautiful statement, in sharp contrast with the chocolate table.
A super comfy lounge is offset beautifully with the spectacular black and white frames. Our client had a large selection of gorgeous photos from their time in Paris. Placing them in the box frames creates a beautiful, personal artwork and links you perfectly into the next room with the black and white theme.
Once the clients had selected their stunning grand piano for the adjoining lounge room we had to refine the outdated country scheme and give it an elegant yet practical update. Using the neutral base of colours makes it easy for the client to add flowers or a cushion to bring in a burst of colour.
